About the Program:
Target Audience:
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, general practitioners and other health care professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients who have or are at risk of HIV infection.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of the program, participants should be able to:

Assess and discuss the evidence that supports the need for early diagnosis and linkage to care of people with HIV infection

Address treatment barriers to providing rapid ARV therapy to all HIV patients under their care

Apply in clinical practice the data and guidelines that support the rapid initiation of ART in all people with HIV infection

Apply knowledge and skills for rapidly providing effective ART that is individualized to the needs of each patient and that supports long-term adherence to ART
