About the Program

Program Overview

This one-hour, Internet symposium will review and discuss the key studies on assessing and managing pharmacokinetics and important potential drug interactions in HIV-positive patients. This symposium will feature an interview of David Back, PhD, one of the leading experts on pharmacology in HIV, by Calvin Cohen, MD, MS, Research Director of CRI New England and Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School.

This program is certified for CME credit for US physicians by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine. This program is for health care providers who treat HIV-positive patients; there are no prerequisites.

Program Note: At the conclusion of the live program, an application will be submitted to the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS) for approval to provide direct EACCME accredited continuing medical education for European participants.  Currently, participating non-US physicians can receive the specified number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits specific to the program and have these converted to their national CME credit in their specific country, where applicable.  Similarly, non-US health care providers other than physicians can receive a certificate of completion and use this to acquire national credit through their national continuing medical education board/association, where applicable. If you have any questions, please contact ViralEd at admin@viraled.com
