
This 1.25-hour Internet symposium will review and discuss the key studies on antiretroviral therapy presented at the 13th European AIDS Conference (EACS) and the 49th Annual Meeting of the Infectious Disease Society of America (IDSA).
This activity is intended for physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients with HIV infection.
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:
Explain the key new studies on ARV therapy presented at the 13th EACS and 49th IDSA
Outline advances in clinical management of HIV-positive patients presented and discussed at the 13th EACS and 49th IDSA to improve patient care;
Describe data presented at the 13th EACS and 49th IDSA regarding the treatment of ARV-naïve and experienced patients;
Construct appropriate ARV regimens for HIV-positive patients.
