About the Program
Program Overview
This 1.5-hour Internet symposium will review and discuss the key studies on antiretroviral therapy presented at the 6th IAS Conference on Pathogenesis, Treatment and Prevention.
This program is certified for CME credit for US physicians by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine.
Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, physicians' assistants, advanced practice nurses, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment and management of patients with HIV infection.
Learning Objectives
After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

Explain the key new studies on ARV therapy presented at the 6th IAS;

Outline how to use the advances in clinical management of HIV-positive patients presented and discussed at the 6th IAS to improve patient care;

Describe how to apply data presented at the 6th IAS regarding the treatment of ARV-naïve and experienced patients;

Construct appropriate ARV regimens for HIV-positive patients.
